Faking it
Well, that's an abuse of functional dependencies if there ever was one!
Still, functional dependencies walked straight into that, if you ask me.
I mean, they've always made me uneasy, and I wasn't really sure why;
but after reading this, I get a sense of it. You want just a little more
power, in order to avoid an unpleasantness, so, oh, let's introduce
functional dependencies, yeah, and it ends up being just way too powerful.
Leading to even more unpleasantness, potentially. Great, just great.
